Traffic Stop Leads to Seizure of Over 400 Grams of Suspected Cocaine

Aiken, SC (10 October 2019, 1:40 pm) – Late last night on October 9th, around 8:19 pm, Aiken County deputies arrested Brodus Bernard Gregg (66) for Trafficking in Cocaine 400 grams or more, Resisting Arrest and other charges.  This arrest comes after deputies stopped Gregg on the I-20 for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop, it was discovered that Gregg was wanted by another agency in SC on an outstanding warrant.  When deputies went to arrest Gregg, he ran towards his vehicle.  After a short altercation, deputies were able to take Gregg into custody.  Deputies found over 400 grams of suspected cocaine, and a quantity of suspected marijuana.  Gregg was taken to the Aiken County Detention Center where he was booked on the mentioned charges.
