Recovered Stolen Vehicles in Windsor and North Aiken County

Aiken, SC (2 May 2020, 2:30 pm) – Over the past serval weeks there has been a rash of theft, car break-ins, stolen vehicles and illegal drugs being reported in this county but also the counties that surround Aiken.  For several weeks, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office has reassigned deputies to assist in patrolling more areas of the county where thefts or crimes like those mentioned may occur.  Within the past few days a total of five (5) stolen cars were recovered which were a Lincoln Mark L Pickup, three (3) Ford Rangers Pickups, and a Moped.  These vehicles were located in the Windsor, SC area and the north side of Aiken County between Aiken and Monetta.  Resolutions to cases like these are possible with the diligent efforts deputies and investigators take when following up on reported incidents as well as tips and leads provided by citizens.  The following where three suspects whose recent arrests are associated with stolen vehicles:

  • Cheyenne Turner (27) of Aiken: Possession of Stolen Vehicle
  • Anthony Allen Cordell (32) of Windsor: Possession of Stolen Vehicle
  • Justin Tyler Quarles (19) of Aiken: Possession of Stolen Vehicle; Removing/falsifying Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

(Each suspect has the presumption of innocence)

We have identified several others that were involved and are in the process of obtaining warrants. If anyone has any information on an ongoing investigation or known locations of wanted suspects, we ask them to contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 648-6811.
