Aiken, SC (October 14, 2021, 2:45 pm) – On October 2, 2021, the investigation in to the shooting death of 38-year-old Clifton Tyler has led investigators to identifying an alleged suspect. Robert Gene Payne II (29 yo) is wanted for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime. Payne was last seen driving away in a dark in color SUV from 3123 Wagener Road where deputies found Mr. Tyler deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Payne should be considered as armed and dangerous. Around 10:00 am today, investigators arrested, Taveisha Danike Porter (28 yo) for Accessory after the Fact to Murder in relation to this investigation.
