Major Nick Gallam is the Jail Administrator with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, where he has been employed for 23 years.  Major Gallam is a graduate of Aiken Technical College where he earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.  Major Gallam obtained his Certified Jail Management Certification, through the American Jail Association, in 2012 and is a graduate of the 18th class of the National Jail Leadership Command Academy.   He is a past President of the South Carolina Jail Administrators’ Association.  Major Gallam was appointed by Governor McMasters in 2017 to serve on the South Carolina Law Enforcement Training Council.  Major Gallam is a retired military service member where he served over 24 years in both in the United States Marine Corps and Army Reserve and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
